Montpelier, VT – The Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) has approved $57.4 million in bond and loan financing to support a variety of economic development projects throughout Vermont.

Manufacturing Projects Among Approvals -- 

Montpelier, VT – The Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) has approved $7.1 million in economic development financings, supporting manufacturing, agricultural, energy and small business projects throughout Vermont.

Montpelier, VT – The Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) has approved $15.2 million in economic development financings, supporting manufacturing, agricultural, energy and small business projects throughout Vermont.

“VEDA is pleased to provide financing assistance to several manufacturing businesses that are expanding and creating new jobs for Vermonters,” said Jo Bradley, VEDA’s Chief Executive Officer. “In addition, agricultural, energy and small business projects will go forward with financing assistance from VEDA.”

Montpelier, VT - A new slate of elected officers will serve in leadership positions on the Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) Board of Directors. “VEDA’s Board is comprised of experienced and dedicated professionals,” said Jo Bradley, VEDA’s Chief Executive Officer. “We deeply appreciate their work in helping to advance the Authority’s economic development mission.”

Montpelier, VT – During the most recent quarter, the Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) approved over $17.4 million in financing for economic and agricultural development projects throughout Vermont totaling $30.2 million.

“VEDA is pleased to provide financing that will help manufacturing, agricultural and small business projects move forward with their growth plans,” said Jo Bradley, the Authority’s CEO. “In addition, a community health center will expand, and several renewable energy and start-up initiatives will also receive VEDA financing.”

South Burlington, VT – In Fiscal Year 2016, VEDA approved financings of $129 million – higher than any prior year, including last year’s approvals of $88 million. The Authority also surpassed any prior year’s agricultural loan approvals – $25.8 million to Vermont farms and agricultural businesses.

These and other measures of the Authority’s contributions to Vermont’s economy will be presented today at VEDA’s 42^nd Annual Meeting in South Burlington.

Director of Operations Cassie Polhemus to Assume COO Position

Montpelier, VT – The Vermont Economic Development Authority (VEDA) has announced two key management changes. Long-time Chief Operating Officer (COO) Steve Greenfield will retire at the end of 2016 and current Director of Operations, Cassie Polhemus, will assume the COO position.
