VEDA Finances Housing Projects
Vermont’s housing shortage requires immediate action. That’s why the State of Vermont recently granted VEDA the ability to lend to commercial housing projects with five or more units. To participate, VEDA must be invited into the financing by another lender.

VEDA’s ability to finance housing can be found in Act 179 which took effect July 2026.
