Lending to C-PACE Energy Projects

VEDA is excited to finance energy projects as part of Vermont’s new Commercial Property-Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program.

Commercial or industrial properties designated by a municipality to be in a C-PACE District can finance renewable energy, energy-efficiency, and resiliency projects using VEDA.

With C-PACE, financing is secured through property assessments by the municipality, which are then used to pay the lender.

C-PACE was created in Act 128 which became law in June 2026.
