Montpelier, Vt. – Governor Phil Scott today appointed Brent Hazzard of Colchester to join VEDA’s Board of Directors. Hazzard has notable experience in commercial banking. Currently, he is a Strategic Advisor to Citizens Financial Group helping determine how AI can help drive revenue and increase efficiency as well as evaluating commercial capital allocation process.

“We are thrilled to welcome Brent to the Board of Directors,” says CEO Joan Goldstein. “Brent is a dynamic and forward-thinking professional who is highly respected in the banking community. We all look forward to learning from him.”

Hazzard joins 14 other devoted board members who share their expertise with VEDA, including Chair Karyn Hale.

“Brent’s expertise will be a wonderful addition to the VEDA Board,” says Hale. “He will be joining a group of talented individuals representing a variety of sectors and regions across the state who all work together for the betterment of Vermont and Vermonters.”
