Vermont Specialty Food Association Annual Meeting

Over the last ten years, VEDA has loaned $14 million to 56 Vermont specialty food producers to support economic development projects totaling $61 million. The Vermont Specialty Food Association will hold their Annual Meeting Thursday, June 9 and VEDA is pleased to be participating in a panel discussion about financing opportunities available to Vermont food producers. The event’s luncheon speaker is Chris Bailey, owner of Vermont Smoke & Cure. In 2011, VEDA was pleased to help Vermont Smoke & Cure purchase machinery and equipment and improve the company's 21,000 square foot manufacturing space in Hinesburg:…/…/development-financing-approved-2011/.
