Job OpeningsIT Manager
VEDA is currently seeking to fill the full-time position of IT Manager. The IT Manager is responsible for all technology throughout the organization, including setting technical direction through an overall technology strategic plan, developing individual project plans, and carrying out the individual tasks to deliver the technical result. The IT manager is responsible for chairing VEDA's IT Steering Committee.
The candidate is responsible for ensuring optimal availability of desktop, laptop, and server computers, both on-site and for remote sites and users. Must possess strong Project Management skills, Customer Service skills, and significant hands-on experience in one or more of the following technologies: VMWare VSphere, Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Server, Windows 7/XP Pro, Office, Exchange 2003/2007, SQL Server 2005/2008, Dell Equallogic SAN, and software development in a Windows and/or web environment.
Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree, or related experience, and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role is required. VEDA provides an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision and retirement.
