Russell, Blanchard & Dubois, a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc., was formed in 2003 by financial advisors Benjamin Russell, Seth Blanchard and Jason Dubois. The practice offers a broad range of financial products and services, including mutual funds as well as brokerage services, financial planning and insurance. The practice has been operating out of leased space in Colchester and has been looking to purchase their own facility to better meet the needs of their clients. A VT 504 debenture in the amount of $303,000 offered the practice an attractive, long-term 20-year fixed rate option to purchase an office condo on Roosevelt Highway in Colchester. The VT 504 debenture, in addition to a $370,000 loan approved by Northfield Savings Bank, gave management the opportunity to own their space and expand their business.
