Springfield Printing CorporationTax-Exempt Revenue Bonds for Manufacturers Program
Springfield Printing Corporation (SPC) was founded in 1878. Mark and Bruce Sanderson, who currently run SPC, are the third generation of Sandersons to be involved in the printing and graphic arts industry. Each has worked at the company for over twenty years, guiding it through the various stages of technology and growth.
In 2008, SPC purchased and installed a Mitsubishi Diamond 3000LX 28" x 40" 6-color sheet-fed printing press. The new press can print up to 16,000 sheets an hour and incorporates efficient automatic plate-changing technology to save time and eliminate waste when setting up jobs.
A tax-exempt Industrial Revenue Bond approved by VEDA and purchased by Peoples Capital provided the financing for the purchase and installation of the press.
