Creative Pages, Inc.VT 504 Loan Program
Heather Palmer began Creative Pages, Inc. in 1989, operating as a one-person typesetting shop. Today, CPI is a full-service design and production firm, providing design, layout, and illustration services to publishers of school textbooks, study guides, and other educational print materials. CPI now employs nine staff members, subcontracts to over 55 other individuals and firms, and has outgrown the company’s current quarters in Stowe.
With the help of $584,000 in financing through VEDA’s Vermont 504 Program, in partnership with the Union Bank, CPI was able to construct a new 5,500 square-foot, energy-efficient building in Stowe’s Lower Village. The site allows for construction of an additional 3,000 square feet to accommodate future company growth.
