Over the years and in partnership with state and federal agencies, VEDA has developed financing programs that target a specific economic development need:

Brownfields Revitalization Fund
  • The Brownfields Revitalization Fund Loan Program is designed to provide funding to assist in the redevelopment of contaminated properties.
State Infrastructure Bank Program
  • Loan funds available at 1% to municipalities for repair of flood-damaged roads and bridges.
State Drinking Water Program
  • This program provides funds to repair or improve existing privately-owned drinking water systems.
Export Assistance Program
  • As the Regional Export Promotion Program (REPP) Partner of the United States Export-Import (Ex-Im) Bank, VEDA provides one-stop service for export finance programs in the state of Vermont.
Electric Vehicle Charging Station Program
  • This program utilizes State Infrastructure Bank (SIB) funds to finance the purchase and/or installation of electric vehicle charging stations available for public use
Windham County Economic Development Program
  • Working in partnership with this program, VEDA administers low-interest loans for eligible projects that help stimulate and strengthen economic development activity in Windham County.
